FHC's Southeast Asian Health Program (SEAHP) participates as a subcontractor to the YWCA's initiative to address the pressing issue of domestic violence in the Vietnamese population, funded by the MDPH. In addition, we contract with MDPH to provide chronic disease education to the Southeast Asian communities in Worcester. Our federal grant supports coalition-building activities targeted to the Southeast Asian communities; these activities complement SEAHP's efforts to provide public health information and create access to health care.
