Health Care Reform has made health insurance available for many more individuals and families, but the process of applying for insurance options can be confusing at times. Many individuals are unsure of their eligbility for various benefits and how to apply. Family Health Center's Health Benefits Advisors are available to help you enroll in health insurance, re-enroll in insurance, determine your eligibility for health insurance, register you as a new patient, and assist you with Food Stamps enrollment (now called S.N.A.P., the State Nutrition Assistance Program).
Health Benefits Advisors are located at the front entrance to Family Health Center, with a private waiting area behind the reception desk. When you arrive, please let the Health Benefits Advisors know you are there, or take a number from the dispenser on the wall and wait to be called. There is also a Health Benefits Advisor available in the Walk In Center every day, Monday through Saturday, and in the evenings.
Please let a staff member know if you need assistance in another language and we will have information translated or interpreted at no cost to you.
For more information, please see our Frequently Asked Questions about health insurance and other benefits, or call (508) 860-7700, or come in and visit with a Health Benefits Advisor who will help answer your questions.
