In 2010 we added a brand new Walk-In Center for Urgent and Primary Care on the first floor of Family Health Center at 26 Queen Street. The Walk-In Center is open every day Monday through Saturday, and has evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The Walk In Center is designed to increase access for patients to same-day sick visits if their Primary Care Provider does not have a same-day appointment available. The Walk-In Center is also a place where new patients may be assigned a Primary Care Provider for their primary care appointments.
Same day appointments are available for sick visits and may help reduce your waiting time, just give us a call! If it is not possible to call ahead, come in and we will be happy to care for you!
The Walk In Center includes patient navigation and health benefits advising services. Please let the staff know if you need assistance applying for insurance or food stamps, and we will be happy to help you.
