Laboratory

 

Family Health Center's medical providers use our laboratory testing services to help them properly diagnose and monitor our patients’ conditions.  When you receive laboratory orders from your physician, ask if you need to be fasting or if any medications will interfere with the test results.  The laboratory staff will not discuss the results with you, they will send the results to your primary care provider for follow up.  Please see your medical provider with any questions you may have about your lab results.

Your well-being is important to us, and we take your right to privacy very seriously.  We abide by HIPAA and the Patient’s Bill of Right by observing your right to confidentiality and dignity during treatment.  We strive to provide the highest quality services to all patients regardless of ability to pay.

Please note that your primary care provider has to send you to the laboratory at Family Health to get a laboratory test done.
