Bamboo, Romina Sarreal Ford

Romina has been creating art throughout her life.  Although she has a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering and works in the telecommunications industry, painting is her true passion.  She credits her latest inspiration to the Asian Brush Painting class at the Worcester Art Museum.

Her work has been shown at the Worcester Public Library, Briarwood, The Sprinkler Factory, and the Shrewsbury Public Library.  Romina is dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of the Asian Brush Painting art form and is a member of the Silk Road Art Guild (SRAG), which has similar objectives.  In addition, she serves as Co-Chair on the Board of Directors of ArtsWorcester.  This is her seventh year of contributing to Art in the City.  Romina relocated from New York in 2009 and lives in Worcester with her family.
