Train at Family Health Center of Worcester! Become a part of the solution and help low-income families access quality care!

For over 45 years, Family Health Center has been improving the care of Worcester’s most vulnerable populations and training future generations of family physicians in collaboration with the University of Massachusetts Medical School.  As a federally qualified community health center, Family Health Center is part of a national health care safety net that has been recognized for its high quality and cost effectiveness in caring for underserved communities.  This combination of health center and university training provides a learning environment that is truly unique.

Residents, faculty, and staff work in interdisciplinary teams of care providers. Patients receive comprehensive care from dentists, primary care and specialty physicians, nurses, case managers, nutritionists, and mental health providers – all under one roof. Patients also have access to lab, radiology, including mammography, and pharmacy services. Family Health Center of Worcester is a model for the future of primary care delivery and residents learn how to practice in this cutting-edge community setting.
